Collective Memory in three Chapters

Screenings at Antje Wachs Galerie
Sept. 3rd, 8th and 10th

We will reopen the season on Sept. 3rd with a screening series called Collective Memories in 3 Chapters, showing films of artists such as Richard Serra, Bruce Conner, Bettina Allamoda, Harun Farocki, Christoph Draeger and Reynold Reynolds, Tony Oursler, Anri Sala, Corinna Schnitt, Adbusters and many more. History, as given in official records, is one versionamong many others. In the subjective perceptions there are often different stories and different perspectives on social events, changes and conditions. Undisguised irony, astute observation and artistic staging alternate to the ambivalent position of the individual within the major social narratives of the 20th Century to reflect.

You are cordially invited to join us Sept 3rd, 8th and 10th for an evening of movies, memories and popcorn in the gallery. Screenings start at 8pm and are free of charge.
